(اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ، أَوْ أُضَلَّ، أَوْ أَزِلَّ، أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أَظْلِمَ، أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أَوْ أَجْهَلَ، أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ).
allahumma inni a'udhu bika an adilla aw udalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw adhlima aw udhlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala 'alayya
O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I should stray or be led astray, slip or be tripped, wrong or be wronged, or act foolishly or have foolishness done to me.

Refuge is sought from four things, and each is named twice — once as something the speaker might do, and once as something that might be done to him. Straying is paired with being led astray, slipping with being tripped, wronging with being wronged, and acting foolishly with having foolishness done to him. The pairing holds without a break across all four, so every danger named covers both directions at once.
The chapter places these words at the moment of leaving the home.
