Welcome to IslamicInfo.org ("IslamicInfo", "the site"). By using the site you agree to these terms. They exist to keep expectations clear — the site is free, and we intend to keep both the knowledge and the rules accessible.

1. Educational Purpose — Not Religious Rulings

IslamicInfo provides educational reference material: Qur'anic text and translations, hadith with their gradings, supplications, and learning tools. IslamicInfo does not issue fatwas or religious rulings. Content is presented with citations to its sources so you can verify everything independently. For rulings on your personal circumstances, consult a qualified scholar.

2. Calculators and Tools

Tools such as the Zakat calculator and the Inheritance (Farā'iḍ) calculator are provided for educational illustration. They compute from the Qur'anic texts and authenticated hadith cited on their pages, and they cannot account for every personal, legal, or jurisdictional circumstance.

Results from calculators are not legal, financial, or religious advice. For the distribution of an actual estate or the discharge of actual Zakat obligations, consult a qualified scholar and, where relevant, a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

3. Accuracy and Corrections

We work to keep every verse, hadith, grading, and citation accurate, and we welcome corrections at hello@islamicinfo.org. Despite this care, errors can occur, and translations inherently involve human rendering of meaning. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Use the site lawfully and in good faith.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site or the public data services it relies on.
  • Do not misrepresent content from this site as a religious ruling or attribute to IslamicInfo statements it has not made.

5. Content and Attribution

The Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ belong to no one — our presentation simply cites them. Translations, recitations, and data are drawn from publicly available scholarly sources, which retain whatever rights apply to their work. The site's original design, code, and editorial content belong to IslamicInfo. You are welcome to share links to any page; for any other reuse of original material, please ask us first.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The site links to external resources and loads data from public services. We do not control external sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IslamicInfo and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the date above revised.
